A priest and a cab driver died almost at the same time. In heaven they were both attended by the same angel. The angel first brought them to an elegant house where the driver was assigned to stay. When the priest was taken to his house, he found out that it was smaller and less beautiful than that of the driver.
"Why is it that the driver was given a more elegant house than mine? I think I have served God more than him," the priest complained.
"Heaven does not think so," said the angel. "When you gave your homily, the churchgoers always went to sleep while that driver always kept all his passengers praying."
